Strategic Leadership Increases Employee Engagement and Productivity
Cumbersome processes and activities negatively impacted employee engagement by over 50%, with a significant amount of wastage of human capital.
Fragmented operations with duplicate activities took place across multiple business units, resulted in inconsistencies with the same activities and increased overall costs of operations.
Multiple layers of management and reporting caused unnecessary effort. As a result, significant decrease in productivity and other employee implications occurred.
Client's Challenges
In order for the organisation to continue its journey for continuous improvements, the following suggestions were made:
More effective organisation, collaboration and administration of meetings with a clear purpose will improve engagement and reduce resource overheads.
Improve synergies by removing duplication of efforts, and opportunities by implementing centres of excellence and shared services model. This provides better pathways to re-integrate skill sets across divisions.
Capacity savings can be achieved by reducing meetings and improving organisational structures to facilitate innovation. A move towards self-serve and agile practices would enable divisions to free up time to work on more strategic initiatives.
